Dr. Bessinger was the Hawaii Dermatological Society President for 10 years and recognized as one of Hawaii’s best doctors by Honolulu Magazine. He’s a high school cross country coach and a dedicated runner. Sarah M. Howell, M.D. Dr. Howell is a board certified dermatologist passionate about medical dermatology. She manages clinical research projects about eczema and psoriasis. She obtained her MD degree from Georgetown University. She completed her residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Before joining Hawaii Dermatology Centers, in 2012, Dr. Howell had been working as a dermatologist for the US Army. She’s been ranked as one of Honolulu Magazine’s top doctors since 2015 and has served as a President of Hawaii Dermatological Society. She loves spending time with her kids and engaging in various hobbies like yoga, reading, painting, and sewing.
