Luft Balloons North & Clybourn was started by designer Elaine Frei in 2017. She has a profound fascination with things that can be employed to create a three-dimensional experience. At the age of eight, she fell in love with the image of a joyful scene in a magazine she had read about. Since then, she has been bringing people together in celebration. Elis famously believes that the intersections of our lives with other people and the world are pointless if we don't share them. These moments don't have to be expensive or fancy, just a little bit above the clamor of everyday life. Luft Balloons was born out of her experience at the Rhode Island School of Design and her vocations as a landscape architect, graphic designer, and entrepreneur. The balloons themselves are merely a decorative component. People smile and become happy when they see balloons. The world needs more simplicity and happiness. We believe the era of cut-throat capitalism is gone. We need a new way of doing business, one that is neither profit-driven nor customer-driven but people-driven.
