NSLC: Leaders Can Be Powerful Agents of Change; National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and National Student Council chapters can start service projects in their communities. One-time fund grants are now available for chapters. Grant Applications are available to National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and National Student Council chapters. Each affiliate may submit only one grant application each year. Your project is limitless. At both the NHS and NSLC, we believe in the power of stretch goals. While it is critical to strive for excellence for your community, the most successful projects are also beneficial. Your chapter must be able to participate in project execution.

NSLC camp reviews have generally been exceptional and almost all 15 reviewed students praised its organization, the quality of education provided, and, importantly, the maturity achieved by participating students. They similarly account for the sense of community created in the camps. In general, the reviews note that these camps play an essential role in providing students with hands-on skill acquisition and exposure to diverse fields of interest. Especially for high school juniors, these camps are beneficial. Participants like meeting high school students from all over the world. The only issue arose in several of these reviews being cost. However, most are delighted with the exceptional services they provide. Another commonly cited benefit of NSLC camps is their potential to provide a comprehensive and practical college experience. For many students, meeting professors, living in dormitories, and interacting with peers among other activities are crucial in understanding college life and promoting successful management of the same. Parents of these students are equally thrilled with the results and think these camps are worth enrolling their children in. It is then safe to say that these camps are most likely worth enrolling in if parents can afford it, considering the positive results experienced by most participants, with the likelihood of positive results exceeding the costs involved.
