PAWS Chicago Training Center

The Kill Community requires PAWS Chicago to build it. A grassroots movement that began in Chicago has touched the lives of many. We are also rooted in our core values. Our solution-oriented approach honours the lives of homeless dogs and cats that we rescue; we value those who make this work possible. The dedicated PAWS Chicago volunteers make our No Kill Mission possible. Many are frequently referred to as “the crazy ones.” Our compassion, innovation, and commitment to excellence are what set us apart from others. We are trusted to save animals that nobody else will. We find our work fulfilling and enjoyable. We enjoy petting the animals we save. Our motivation comes from the belief that all abandoned cats and dogs should live a happy, healthy life. The foundation for all classes is Basic Obedience & Manners. This class is designed for handlers and their dogs who need to start with the basics. This class will teach you how to teach your dog good manners, including leash etiquette. This class will also teach you how to train using markers (e.g., a clicker) in training, as well as proper execution.

Dog owners were very pleased with PAWS and spoke very positively about them, particularly their trainers and classes such as the Puppy and Obedience level one training that the dogs received. The dog owners were very satisfied with the training received by their dogs. Rocky, a dog owner said that his dog Nico was trained by Mike, and the classes were successful as a result. Cindy, who had noticed their dog Blu be less anxious, Kim, Kristina, Mike, and everyone else who benefited the dogs and the owners during the classes. They were happy and would recommend the classes from PAWS. The described the environment as clean, conducive, and welcoming for training. The suitability of the training was something that impressed me a great deal. The dog owners have spoken well about these classes. It made that the dogs attended the training and improved afterwards. The owners consistently say that they are returning for more training. Thus, PAWS has demonstrated a high level of customers' satisfaction in these clients, and the facility deserve commendation.
