In 1945, Roosevelt University was established. Its visionary founder, 62 faculty members, and others fought against the discriminatory higher education practices of the time. When asked if their will were to limit access by race, religion, or gender, they said, “We don't count that way.” Our history is one of courage, acceptance, and social justice commitment. Values.
