Swiss FineTiming/Atelier Jewellers was founded by Gene Stern more than two decades ago. He had grown tired of his corporate transactional attorney and certified public accountant careers at the time. Gene founded Swiss FineTiming in order to express his love for timepieces and engage in a business that he loved doing (Swiss FineTiming, 2022). Gene once remarked, “I built a place to work where we are doing business. Not store clerks.” Gene’s enthusiasm for watchmaking is infectious. When not at the store, he loves spending time with Karen, his two daughters, and their Bull Terrier, Louis. Gene is also a vintage pilot watch repair enthusiast, collector of art, and auto enthusiast.
