Wee Care Preschool

The teachers at our preschool show a mix of experiences. Some of our teachers have been working at Wee Care since 2005, while others have taught for more than five years. What all our teachers have in common is their decades of experience in Early Childhood Education. Each staff member is a certified member of the Early Childhood Education community in their classroom role. Employed teachers are required to sign up with the Gateway Program and take classes annually to keep current on essential program requirements. Many of our teachers are also moms, which helps to nurture each child. Good child care is vital to keep up in today's ever-changing society. Children must develop in a stimulating, safe, and optimistic environment. This is certainly a priority for Wee Care Preschool. We have served families in the Lakeview/Lincoln Park area for more than 35 years. Wee Care has an enormous backing from parents, who particularly commend the quality of the caring and professional teaching staff. The majority have reported that their children not only gained from the educational aspect but also formed strong relationships that went well beyond the usual caregiver-care-seeker relationship. The care center's handling of the COVID-19 situation, staff interactions, the school's safety measures, and the concern for the health and happiness of the children were all highly evaluated.
