A+ Barber School Inc. educates all men and women of all ages to become professional barbers. We give future barbers a chance to achieve their professional and personal goals. Many of them will use their talents to better their surrounding business community. I started cutting my hair at 13 and decided to attend Barber School and get a license to work professionally at 22. I worked in barber shops for three years before launching my own in February of 2007. After 12 years in the business, I have employed many graduates from local institutions. It was evident that I desired a school that can make the transition from school to the shop a reality for the students; hence A+ Barber School was born. However, I was poorly guided, so I chose to accept the full extent of the call on my life and become the barber I wanted to be. Cosmetology has been my lifelong dream, which I realized in 2010 when I became a licensed cosmetologist. I returned to school in 2011 to obtain my instructor's license. After obtaining my license in 2020, I was employed at a beauty school where I taught for almost seven years. I learned many administrative aspects which I enjoyed when I was an Assistant Director. In 2020, I was appointed Campus Director for another school of cosmetology. As A+ Barber School was starting, Dave asked me to help him, and I became his Campus Director. The best thing about this job is seeing how the students quickly develop until they become confident Barbers. My goal is to help students attain their professional and personal objectives.
