Anna Afshar Art: Abstract Elements The subject matter in this art is reality inspired by the abstract elements of the world. I found that is the reflection of sunsets, the color of flowers blooming, the reflection of water on the surface, the beauty of the city skyline or the abstract structure of the city, and the detailed form that I love to draw that shapes my imagination and myself. I was attracted to its attractiveness and I used my creativity to express the images in colors for viewers to see, feel the same feeling as me. My art is impressionistic but representational. Although it is abstract in a way, the essence of the subject matter makes it the inspiration for painting. I am an Abstract Artist as well as everywhere in the world. My influences are Singer Surgent, Andrew Wyeth, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. I’m a Watercolor Society of Indiana Signature Member, Hoosier Salon, and Indiana Art Club. I like to share my perspective on the world through my paintings. It could be something I saw on the street, a friend I met while on a trip, or just something that caught my eye as an observer. Or you could see it as a story that I told with a brush. One sees objects, the process of seeing them, and what they are seeing. Perspective is a set of attitudes, and then one makes a picture of a painting and different stories as a result of it. You can't run out of inspiration because it's around you. You can visit the studio at Stutz during normal business hours because I enjoy sharing my perspective with the viewers of their paintings. You can also call me to schedule a viewing of my art.

Anna Afshar has an extraordinary aptitude, as evidenced by clients who have had past dealings with here. Even as a tutor, Anna has maintained a positive work relationship with students. She is pleasant and fulfills all her obligations to customers. One client stated that Anna had made a big impression as a tutor and they had learned a lot from her. She is receptive to new ideas and is furthering her education by studying art at other institutions. These are a few examples of how she continued to develop her artistic abilities. She is an admirable woman who enjoys seeing hard work benefit others. It would be terrific if other artists could be as approachable as she is.
