I am solely virtual now. The COVID-19 threat made us embrace virtual connections. This switch has provided new opportunities. My experience is not new, having started 21 years ago. I spent the first 14 years practicing with Dr. Alfred Barrow in a group setting and the last 7 independently. It was always a joy to share Christian beliefs and values with patients. I am not Church-raised, and I am wary of organized religion. I usually permit the patient’s goals and am hesitant to impose religious rules. I reassure you of my commitment to your objectives and offer the best therapy. Reflecting on my life, the “seeker” stands out. Since psychology felt like the best platform to discover truth and insight, this role played a major part in my life.
