Joseph Edwin (Joe) Holwager, founder of Holwager & Holwager, Attorneys at Law, P.C., was born and raised in Madison, Indiana. The United States Navy called him to serve his country in World War II. His Navy career included Guadalcanal campaigns and the silver star award for bravery in saving injured officers. Joe returned with an honorable discharge to the Indiana Board of Health. He also served as the Board's Director of Vital Records, signing numerous birth certificates. Joe specialized in Elder law, with a focus on the greater Indianapolis area and Indiana. We are committed to the compassionate tradition of our founder, Joseph Edwin Holwager, and treat our clients professionally and with respect, regardless of the difficulty.
