Companion Dog School

The Companion Dog School is in Louisville KY and provides dog training with 38 years of professional experience in the field. We offer boarding, obedience, and agility training. National awards were given to Pat Higgins dogs for dog agility, obedience, and conformation. 38 years of training and instructing dogs is an experience that produces fast results. If time is a concern, we will handle the course. Pat will train your dog one-on-one in Pat's house for 3 weeks. Basic commands such as heel, stop, and come will be taught. Any behavior problems will be treated during this time. Owners will continue to use the same strategies they learned during private lessons after completion of this course. Owners must be responsible in preserving their dog's positive behavior. Dogs will be locked in a crate at night and allowed to play and run around freely during the day. Your dog will learn how to sit, walk, or lay down when instructed. They will respond when called. The class will address housebreaking, chewing, eating, and other common behavioral issues. The course also addresses grooming, nutrition, health, and hygiene.
