Reviews Summary

The Kentucky Arts Academy generally received positive reviews from its students and their parents. Parents reported a high level of satisfaction with the school, its instructors, and its courses. Many parents expressed pleasure that the School provided a wide range of courses, making it ideal for learners of any interest. They also noted the school's role in the overall development of their children, emphasizing the importance of music education to a child's social and mental well-being. Many parents had positive experiences with the various music educators and spoke highly of their professional approach and dedication to assisting their children. Julie, the co-owner and office manager, was lauded for her kindness and concern for both pupils and parents. Her actions, such as offering personal gifts on students' birthdays, are particularly noteworthy. Nearly all of the evaluations commend the Academy's safe environment, helping parents trust the school and be worry-free while their children are in class. The few negative perceptions are unrelated to the School's teachings or its faculty. This includes using the phone to communicate with the school. Many good jobs and suggestions lead to many recommendations from parents willing to register their children for a course.

My experience with these people was pretty bad. Funny thing is, if you read their negative reviews, you will see a pattern. Poor communication, all about profit, and misuse of credit cards. Their communication is terrible, and it is clearly all about them and not about the students. I went for a trial lesson. I gave my teacher my credit card, and told my teacher that I would like regular lessons with her. They immediately charged me for that lesson and for a month of additional lessons with her. Later, I asked "her" a few questions through the phone number she gave me for texts, but never heard back from "her" until a couple of days before the first lesson when someone else using the same phone number told me over a text, oh we're going to give you some other teacher that you don't know. I told "them" that was not okay, that I needed to at least meet this teacher they were dumping on me without a trial lesson. I didn't hear back from anyone until a couple of days before the first lesson (that I told them I didn't want). They acted confused. Eventually I told whomever was on the other side of that phone number, "Look if it's easier for you, just keep my money". Which is exactly what they did. Then they sent me another unprofessional message from their shared email account. They don't even sign the text messages... they just act like it's from the person you've already talked with. I had to ask them if I needed to cancel my credit card so they wouldn't continue to charge me for something I wasn't getting. Finally, they said no that they were going to delete my credit card. We will see. Also, I received dozens of texts from their automated system, including one a couple days before the lesson telling me it was with the person that it was not going to be with. If you have followed all this, caveat emptor. I don't know what happened, but I didn't like it, and you can tell by my reviews this is not something that I am used to experiencing with companies in Louisville. Dean
