Finding the right college is difficult, but two main paths will help you find the right college. You could do everything yourself, or you could hire an advisor. Many families and students choose an advisor. I have been advising students and their families for over 35 years, 17 of which I focused on college admissions. I have worked with hundreds of students, each with their interests and accomplishments, to help them get accepted into college. I have visited admissions offices and campuses in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, including Portland, Oregon, and the Southeast, including Coral Gables, Florida. I have worked with colleges in Illinois, Chicago, and Los Angeles CA, where the college admissions process is complex and fascinating. I have received a lot of information directly from admissions officers and other students. I always make sure to go to visit colleges when I can, because it is important to understand how a campus operates and the students who attend it. I work hard to help students find the best colleges and reduce the financial burden associated with higher education, even if I don't work directly with every student. Applying to colleges is stressful, and good solutions are hard to come by, but I can still find the best colleges for your college search.
