In this course, the students learn everything there is to know about Barber/Styling. Barbering/Styling is defined as the art and science of hair cutting and styling. These are the primary services offered by a Barber/Stylist. The program's length is measured in clock hours. This means that for every hour spent in the class, the student earns one hour. Daily classroom theory provides students foundation knowledge needed to advance to clinical training. Lectures, transparencies, handouts, and diagrams are some of the ways students will be taught. Barber Styling is designed to be a complete understanding and mastery of all the information and skills necessary to pass the Massachusetts State Board of Barber's apprentice exam, essentially enabling the student to perform as a competent, capable practitioner in today's barbershop.
