Boston Arts Academy

Students are endlessly curious and driven to strive for their potential in the arts. They create art with a sense of purpose and direction. BAA is a vibrant creative community where students find the resources they need to succeed.encouraging risk-taking is the way we prepare our students for a future in their chosen field School is eight hours of instruction each day for each student. Here they balance academics with art. This extended day allows 300 hours of practice and in-depth study per year. Our students can choose to major in any of the four disciplines. They must also complete a college-preparatory course work that includes science and humanities. Our seven ProArts Consortium colleges offer college credit. We believe that setting goals and taking risks is critical. We want BAA students to question the status quo. They must be committed to professional and personal growth if they want to influence their peers in the art world. Each student and teacher at BAA is encouraged to do their best. We start every conversation by highlighting what students do well. They get a chance to learn in the same school as their peers, giving children with special needs a better experience than they would in a separate school.
