Boston ASAP is a licensed Mental Health Clinic that offers a variety of counseling and mental health services. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has licensed Boston Alcohol. This means the agency can provide outpatient treatments for alcohol, drugs, and gambling. The clinic employs a highly-trained and multidisciplinary team of experts who offer culturally competent services. Boston ASAP staff can speak English and Spanish. We also offer interpretive services for all languages, including sign language. Any person aged 18 years or above who needs to be admitted to the outpatient treatment because of substance abuse or education can go to Boston ASAP. Therefore, college, students, health services, community-based juvenile justice programs and community health centers can make appropriate referrals (Boston ASAP, 2020). Voluntary and court-ordered clients requiring substance abuse assessments can also make referrals from other states. On the other hand, Boston ASAP does not provide residential, detox, residential or in-patient methadone treatment. Boston ASAP will admit clients having government waivers, but they should pay all other additional fees not covered in the program or from another source. Also, anyone willing to work with another medical provider or a medical service provider with a concurrent mental or psychological condition must give their consent. The program will not accept any person having some other medical condition or treatment that contravenes ASAP itself, but they will try to find an alternative to accommodate such needs (Boston ASAP, 2020).
