Frank H. Carr founded Carr Funeral Home. He became a licensed embalmer and director in 1926. In Charlestown, Frank had a funeral service business with storefront premises. Decedents' homes hosted all wakes. In 1945, Frank purchased a house on 220 Bunker hill Street, and its transformation into a funeral home began. Frank raised his funeral services career alongside Anne, his wife, and their nine children. Various civil and social events in Charlestown featured Frank as an active guest. Frank coordinated Bunker Hill Council #62 Knights of Columbus trips for the residents to various towns, creating Club 62. Mr. Carr was a highly respectful and humble man.
