I have been a patient at Great Hill Dental Boston for over 15 years, and I have had the worst experience of my whole life, and it's a nightmare.
1. Price: I have a contract for implant dentures for over $21,000, and they said it is not covered by insurance. However, I paid over $24,000, and they added more bills and said they needed more. My insurance paid over 10,000, and I paid 24,000. They still left money; they cut bills by themselves when I asked them why I needed to pay more.
2. Remove whole teeth without any considerations for patients. When I visited there for annual cleaning, at my age 40 years, Dr. Shappiro took a whole X-ray and said I needed to remove whole teeth and implants. The cost was over 100,000.
So I didn't go back over 10 years, and many teeth were Ok during those 10 years.
3. Trust Mr.Shappiro and remove whole teeth when I lost 3 teeth during Covid. The price was expensive because of the 2 steps to impress.
Implants need 1 step impress was adjust and fit during implants processing. But Dr. Shappiro made a big impression with the denture and said I needed a new one because it was too big for my mouth. He said I need to visit 3 times to adjust that denture. During 6 months he didn't offer a new one or a refund at all. So I don't have any teeth or dentures over 6 months.
4. After 1 impression, they recommend De. Ray and he made my second impressions. But he said he needed to go back to school just to visit for a second. I got the impression. I need to adjust or get treatment for my Denture, but he left,t so I can't ask to fix or adjust my new denture at all.
5. I need to adjust, but Dr. Ray left, and I need to adjust by myself.
And My Denture started to break, so I re-visited Great Hill Dental.
They said couldn't cover it with my warranty because I had adjusted it and I need to pay for it all again.
6. I asked them to refund or repair my denture, but they all denied and blamed me. They do not show any responsibility or professionalism. So even I paid 24,000$, I still don't have any dentures after they removed my whole teeth still and suffer from it.
7. I can start leave review and legal actions that I can do. I left a review for them, they commented that they would help me as a response.
So I called them, and they gave me a number in the comment. The guy said they didn't care about my review but I could get a meeting, and gave me a date and time.
I went to a meeting with the manager, and they said I was late the time so I need to come back again even they said I can come 9:00am3 pm.
I revisited and had a meeting with the manager. She didn't prepare for the meeting and said the same thing again and again. I tried to explain my situation, but they said they would give me a new price by email, and when I got the new price, it was almost the same as my first price. I called them again and asked them if they needed to make more adjustments the price. But no email, no call, no responsibility, no professionalism.
I hope someone needs to some project here, please compare price with other place and confirm refund or warranty policy as well.
