Gymnastic Academy of Boston (GAB) has several family-owned locations led by children's advocates. GAB began in 1972 as a small group of mats on Belmont Street in Watertown. GAB has since expanded to become a full-fledged gym with professional staff on board. And yes, we survived the 80s! Despite the economic downturns, GAB has established a devoted clientele, as evidenced by the families with second-generation gymnasts enrolled. GAB has also been able to introduce multiple State, Regional, and National Champions over the years. Despite this competitive success, GAB's core mission has always been to educate young gymnasts on the importance of sports in a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment. Whatever skill level they are at, everyone is welcome.
