About Mass Motion Dance Boston
Formally known as Terri Gordon Dance Center, Mass Motion Dance was established in Sturbridge Massachusetts during the year 1983. Young Gordon started her dance training at Worcester, Massachusetts. It was in Worcester that she got a scholarship to Boston Ballet School when she was 14 years old. By the time she hit 15, she was already an apprentice at the Company. Terri performed with The Boston Ballet when she moved to the City for almost six years. Mrs. Gordon moved further to Germany where she joined Tanz Forum, a modern dance troupe of Cologne Opera. Terri’s dancing career traversed many nations, including Canada, Western Europe, and the United States. Some of the appearances she has made as a guest include at the Chicago Lyric Opera and Rhode Island Festival Ballet. Mrs. Gordon has also taught master classes at Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Mercyhurst College. She taught dance at Burncoat High School's Arts Magnet Program between 1996 to 2001.
