Dimock's Women's Renew-Clinical Stabilization Services is a residential detoxification program for up to 20 women aged 18 and older. We offer intensive treatment over one to four weeks to women in early recovery. The program seeks to create structure, support, and hope for women who struggle with substance abuse, mental illness, and trauma. Our approach creates healing communities through trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing and other best practices. Services Structured groups and individual therapy aim to help women develop effective coping mechanisms and understand the addiction process. A treatment plan is designed in partnership with clients and their clinical team to keep women on track throughout their recovery. Clients are given homework assignments to supplement learning and a Roadmap to Recovery, a planning guide to keep women moving forward on their recovery journey. My Sister's House Healing Communities is a one-year residential program for up to 22 women in early recovery. The program encourages women to live independently in a supportive and safe environment and set and achieve their goals. The program uses best practices like harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Services Public Health provides wellness checks and medical care to all Residents. Public Health dental services are available to all My Sister's House residents. Public Health will connect residents with other health services, provide primary care. Residents receive individual and group therapy and case management and family stabilization to help them overcome their addiction. Clients receive parenting classes, meetings with their children, and attend yoga and 12-step meeting. The team at My Sister's House staffs both, who assist clients in building caring relationships. Women can move into Public Health's Women's Renew program if they qualify. Our mission is to support low-income women and all individuals with housing and treatment, including parenting support. Lastly, the scope of the program is not limited to treating opioid addicts. Women taking suboxone and methadone are encouraged to participate in the program. The Department of Public Health's Bureau of Substance Abuse Services supports this program.
