Founded in 2012, Library Street Collective has developed programming and artists engaging the city of Detroit with the international art community while fueling the city's creative renaissance. Their impact extends to every square inch of the city's private, public, and heritage spaces. The gallery raises funds and awareness for deserving causes and nonprofits, especially those in Detroit. The gallery has expanded its exhibitions, partnerships, and museum collaborations. The gallery has several projects. Many have contemporary art experiences for the Detroit metro area and are open and free to the public. The East Village Public Arts Campus, with hopes of designation as Detroit's next cultural district, is one project. This Romanesque one-hundred-year-old church, referred to as the Shepherd, is earmarked for transformation into an arts and culture center offering programming within public art installations, performances, exhibitions, and other projects, blurring the line between the institution, commercial gallery, and community arts center. It will create and support collaborations with local museums and galleries and international arts organizations.

The gallery's reviews are positive, with customers praising the diversity and quality of art, the visitor's service, and the warm and comfortable environment. Many clients highlight that their displays are always changing and that the visitor service person is very informative, friendly, and captivating. Others celebrated the exhibitions they had seen, stating how enlightening and hair-raising they were. The gallery is perfect for short visits and is entirely different from all the others from what the various artists will portray in their works. It would help attract visuals and the best place to check in while in Detroit for a visit and also for all artists or your exhibition.
