The show includes pieces by local students who have contemplated the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The exhibit will run through May 6, and we will be open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 pm. Throughout the next month, this space will exhibit our community’s work that promotes Palestinian identity, history, and solidarity while also raising awareness about the ongoing land theft and occupation. We are quickly approaching the 75th anniversary of al-Nakba, the unjust ethnic cleansing and killing of Palestinians, and our focus for the next four weeks will be on providing a space for mourning, healing, organizing, and raising awareness about the ongoing Nakba with activities, art, displays of ancestral items, and other.
