Miel Casgna-Herrera & Curtis offer a unique coffee drink and an inviting atmosphere to relax, socialize, or work. Miel’s dad Alberto Jose Castagna was a huge inspiration for our cafe. He grew up on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and emigrated to America at age 16. A providence filled with wonder, talent and his love for yerba mat was phenomenal. He epitomized the best of South American and Spanish speaking countries. Curtis Herrera's grandparents Felipa and Aniseto came to America in 1930s from Guadalajara Mexico to work in railroads and farms in Western Kansas. They celebrated their culture by having gatherings with family members that were rich in flavor and tradition. Their is remarkable diversity through food, music, languages, and cultures, which we promote and appreciate. Designed for rich cuisine and culture of Latinx people.
