Hollis + Miller Architects is a full-service, integrated design business that is 100 percent dedicated to education and creating the future learning environment. It was founded to create research-based designs that support learners of all ages. With over 70 years of experience, our integrated design studios, which include architects, structural engineers, and graphic/interior designers, work with clients to create educational facilities that align with their goals. Hollis + Miller’s two studios in Kansas City and Castle Rock specialize in designing K-12 spaces and serve clients who pursue higher education. We also engage and empower the communities we serve. Our educational facility will serve as a hub for the community and educate future leaders. Because we believe learning environments are more than just walls and floors, all members of our design team must be included from the beginning. The design should address environmental graphics, interior design, architecture, and structural engineering. At Hollis + Miller, our studios are integrated, and our interior designers, architects, and structural engineers all sit together and work to ensure a unified design approach. We also engage consultants early in the design process abuse our room designs rely on a variety of building systems and components.
