UMKC Connect is a platform where students, faculty, and advisors can meet and design a plan that will lead to student success. It ensures students get the on-campus and online resources that are significant in their academic success. The program ensures that students have a personalized plan that includes the support and tools required to achieve their goals. The collaboration and communication platform helps students become successful in their studies and collaborate with faculty members and advisors. Human services programme can also be accessed on UMKC Connect, which was published by CAHSS students. The two programmes may be pursued in the same program. Other general education courses that might be offered in the program include Introduction to Cognitive Processes, Introduction to Social Well-Being, Introduction to Social Thought, Introduction to Public Administration, Introduction to Social Sciences, and Crimes and Society in the United States. All these courses must be taken during your first year of study at the College of Arts and Sciences. These courses are generally taken to help the students understand more about human services and applied social and behavioral sciences. Internship opportunities are available for students in the human services program, which are generally research opportunities that are related to a student's major. The Internship Course is a program that is required for all students doing the human services program to engage in. This course can be done online or in person at the students' convenience. The course must be done during the student's first year of study at UMKC College of Arts and Sciences. Through this program, students may be able to take part in fieldwork and research internships that are offered by the UMKC College of Arts and Sciences. This program is considered to be very important, as it gives the students a chance to learn more about their major and learn more about the field of human services.
