Welcome to Artscope, a St. Louis 501(c3) nonprofit that uses visionary play, imaginative art, and dialogue to promote emotional well-being and intentional inclusion. Artscope offers children access to the arts. We provide a supportive environment that is also free of failure. Creativity is a skill that may be developed. Artscope is committed to promoting children's creative skills. Artscope's visionary play and self-actualization efforts are part of our core values. In addition, we are dedicated to creativity, sustainability, harmony with the environment, and collaboration opportunities for children. Artscope's core values support everything we do, including our summer camps and arts education programs. History Artscope, founded in 2002 by Jenna Bauer (Saint Louis), is our history. Children ages 10 to 16 (with some as young as eight) spent their time in a safe place to play and express themselves. Originally, we were known as the Saint Louis City Open Studio and Gallery (SCOSaG). In 2014, our name was changed to Artscope. However, the mission and vision remained the same. The oldest art education program in St. Louis City, Artscope is located where it originated. Tower Grove Park is our home. Here, children can explore the surrounding area, create new games, and spend time with other kids. This natural setting is a place to be completely free of technology, which is a rarity in today's modern world. Donating to the SCOSaG for Children TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS To support the 501(c3) public charity South City Open Studio and Gallery for Children, make a donation to Artscape.
