CAM also inspires people by teaching more than 100 programs each year, most of them free. Our Youth Program reaches students in St. Louis Public Schools. Most of the students live just one mile from the Museum, so we want to give them extra attention. CAM’s programs encourage creativity and critical thinking among our young citizens by allowing students to work closely with artists in New Art in the Neighborhood and LEAP Middle School Initiative. Teen Museum Studies allows young participants to learn about their careers by experiencing the Museum’s inner workings and creating an exhibition. CAM’s programs are free, so they make a lasting impact on local students and citizens.
