Archery Experience includes: Instructor Qualifications Each of our friendly, patient, and skilled instructors is a certified member of USA Archery, the official Olympic archery governing body in the United States. Additionally, some of our staff are involved as active participants. Explore Archery The Explore program prepares someone for a season, a competitive league, or perhaps a move from a club to a junior olympic archery development (JOAD) program, of which we offer. This program is required for all new members entering our club system to ease their transition to our core program. Our Explore Archery program offers participants an introduction to the form and culture of competitive archery in a safe, fun, and prepared setting while educating them on the higher expectations of a formal training environment. Junior Olympic Archery Development The JOAD program emphasizes the National Training System, which is based on the standards of the best professional athletes worldwide. This program is designed to be the final preparation for someone to compete on their own or as a member of the US team. JOAD is offered based on one’s archer’s attributes, including age, level of maturity within the program, and USA Archery classification.
