Lo Jordan Esthetics comes from my time as a teenager when I became passionate about skincare. I started having acne and tried every possible solution, including drugstore soaps, ProActiv that I'd buy from vending machines at malls, and natural soaps. I was the mockery for how long I would take to scrub my face, but I did it because I hated acne. However, all these did not give me control over my skin until I worked in the spa industry. I was introduced to professional skincare, and it worked wonders on my skin. When I started getting facials and chemical peels in the spa, my skin began showing improvements. My acne started to clear, dark spots lightened, and my skin's texture was smoother. It felt clean, not just on the surface. I absolutely loved my professional products! But even after receiving my Associates Degree, I felt lost. It was not until I took that leap of faith that I officially quit my full-time job as a manager - a job I did for three years - and started school for esthetics. I enjoyed the moment I stepped into my first theory class; I knew that I wanted to do this. It was a great feeling going back to school. I wanted to learn everything, and I was eager to learn. I earned multiple advanced certifications in college, such as Advanced Facials and Advanced Machines, like laser hair removal and IPL. I also have certificates for microneedling, facial & body lifts, and body cavitation. After I graduated, I acquired a PCA Chemical Peel certification, and a Reiki level 1 certification. Every year, I try to obtain another certification to further my education. These are just the beginning of my huge dreams. Thank you for supporting me!
