Dr. Johnson is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical and general settings. She completed her dermatology training at Washington University School of Medicine St. Louis, where she was Chief Resident. She is an ABD certified specialist who has undergone rigorous postgraduate medical training and certification. Dr. Johnson has a gift for patient care and treatment, and she has been recognized for her work on shared decision making for patients and how it contributes to patient well-being and life quality. Dr. Johnson's research has been featured in JAMA Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and co-authored with Harvard and Washington University's heads of the department. She has published academic articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. Dr. Johnson continues to be an extraordinary surgeon, educator, and colleague. She mentors medical students and residents weekly at the Veterans Affairs Dermatology Clinic. She has been a member of the American Academy of Dermatology since 2014. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, painting, college sports, and pickleball.
