Ashley Barbour Educational and Therapeutic Consultant Ashley Barbour is a therapeutic and educational consultant specializing in therapeutic placements. Ashley boasts over 25 years of experience working in behavioral healthcare. Her varied background includes counseling, client relations, clinical case management, and admissions.  For many years, Ashley assisted families in finding treatment. She started in the Northeast, working with clinically complex children and teens at a hospital, where she received the inspiration to help minors combating substance use and mental illness. She transferred to Texas, where she spent 12 years working with at-risk youth at The Brown Schools and CEDU. She worked as a behavior therapist and clinical case manager in her unique experience. She served as the admissions director for CEDU. She also led the admissions team and marketing department at a behavioral health company. She handled staff training for all residential treatment programs and developed and executed marketing and sales plans. After training, she was promoted to admissions director at a Colorado therapeutic residential program. She worked with families to help them through the enrollment/assessment process while connecting them with aftercare resources. Ashley’s background in therapeutic programs includes residential facilities, wilderness programs, and therapeutic boarding schools. She guides families through the selection and assessment process, offering a unique outlook. Ashley is based in Charlotte, NC. Her efficient communication and ability to connect with families and students make her an asset to the consulting process.
