Hawx pest is a Fraudulent company.
They sent a young solicitor to our house to sell a service. He lied to my wife about the costs and what was included.
He said it would be $79 per service. They showed up and did not complete service and the next month we noticed another $79 charge.
My wife called to find out why and at this time she was told the contract is for $79 per month for quarterly service.
My wife informed them this is not what she signed up for and wanted to cancel. She was "transferred" to a different department to help her and literally was on hold for hours and no one took her call to help.
I posted a Google review explaining what happened and their CEO responded to it asking me to contact her so we could resolve the issue. I emailed her and never received any response.
Today, I just received an invoice from Hawx pest for the services they never did even after we reported them to the CC company for Fraudulent charges and were refunded the money.
I called Hawx and was able to reach some type of mgr who, even after explaining the whole situation, she called me a liar, and still attempted to extort money from me even threatening to hurt my credit.
I told the lady, since she wants to call me a liar, she can go freak herself, I am not paying another dime and hung up.
They never indicated that they charge $80 a month but only expect to come out every three months. We were billed for 8 months and they came out twice, and only because we kept calling and complaining that no one had serviced our home. After many no call no shows, we wanted to cancel service. They did, but charged $200 on my card the same day that they notified me we could cancel without my approval of the charge or any notice. Their service is terrible and they should be ASHAMED!!! I would highly suggest you go elsewhere unless you want to throw A LOT of money away for nothing.

This was the worst service I have ever received. Morgan was extremely nice and offered to cut the cost of a monthly service. Likewise they threw in multiple services for free. Sounds great right? It was horrible. I had to have them come out multiple times over the course of 3 months and the problems never were fixed. No, it wasn't roaches or anything due to being nasty or infested, it was scorpions, yellow jackets , millipedes, and spiders. I asked the sales rep Morgan if there would be a cancelation fee if I was unhappy with the service, and I was assured that there would be no fees or anything, but he doesn't know of any reason why I would be unhappy. Well, I was unhappy the first tech who came forgot to do the services. To cancel I was informed I was lied to, and its 200 to cancel after I was laughed at by the first rep. He was very disrespectful, and told me that I only had two options. Either keep the service at a discount of 50 a month and one month free, or cancel and have a 200 charge. I asked to speak to someone who could help me and his response was, " It could take 72 hours or longer if I receive a call back at all from one of the managers. After persisting he finally put me on the line with a manager( She claimed to be one anyways), she said the same thing and that if I can't prove he lied about the fee then I would have to pay it or they could sue or put it against my credit. Bot were incredibly unprofessional. It was one of the worse business experiences I've had to go through with a company. 100% would not recommend, and If asked I would steer anyone who asked me to someone else.
We used this service for a year beginning in July 2021 because we were experiencing an ant problem. This had never been an issue in the 2 years previous after we moved in. Even after the first service, we never saw any improved results, in fact, our ant problem actually become worse and we found that bait traps worked more effectively and only took a matter of 3 days to take care of the ants. For a full year and with quarterly services, there was no improvement. I emailed to cancel our service on September 13th, 2022 and was told I had to call in to cancel. Prior to our next service, scheduled for October 22nd, I recieved a charge to my account on October 13th, 2022 of 44.99/mo. I called that very day and asked to cancel. I was put on hold for 25 minutes and once I spoke with the rep, I was told I can cancel but they would not refund me for the charge even though I had not been serviced yet. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused, being told I had reached the highest tier and that I could not speak to a manager or the owner because they don't take calls. I feel it's ridiculous I'm being charged for a service I do not want when the service has not even taken place when previous services were not effective.
