She was making products to alleviate her son’s skin eczema then and realised she wasn't alone seeking remedies and healthy products for the whole family. Shayla launched OMG online as a boutique. It expanded to provide her body butters, lotions, soaps, candles, and other products. The product is backed by the fact that Keshia knight Pulliam—a woman who used the "Mommy's Belly Butter" through her pregnancy—endorsed its effectiveness. She never knew that her husband Curtis would change his career in manufacturing for 15 years to venture into massage therapy. In 2018, fate would smile at them again. They opened a new brick-and-mortar wellness boutique, named Oh My Goodness Wellness Bar, which provides natural products and services, including massage therapy, cupping, Reiki, bodywork, and spiritual coaching. Edmunds believes in promoting wellness by providing natural beauty and health solutions and holistic massage services that meet the clients’ needs. It is more of their life and their family than a family business. Inspired by the children, family members, and clients they serve, they offer many products and services.
