Dermatology Associates of Lincoln

Dr. Weir and Dr. Bowen met in 2017 through mutual friends, and since then, their families have grown close. Their kids go to school together and ask to play at each other’s houses. Dr. Weir and Dr. Bowen both live in the neighborhood. Over the past few years, they have felt the calling to work together and start a new practice based on patient care and family values. The founding of Dermatology Associates of Lincoln is the realization of this shared dream. The team is supported by a group of caring and well-informed Physician Assistants who come from varied backgrounds, with over 20 years of combined experience in dermatology. Dr. Weir has practiced dermatology in Lincoln since 2010. She graduated from Pius X High School, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and UNMC '10, a program for undergraduates. She completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Weir returned to Lincoln in 2014 with her husband, Dr. Jesse Weir, of Associated Anesthesiologists, P.C. In 2020, after six years of work with South Lincoln Dermatology, she will open Dermatology Associates of Lincoln. Dr. Weir practices all aspects of dermatology. She is specifically interested in skin cancer detection and prevention, removal of lipomas and minor cysts, as well as the treatment of severe acne and psoriasis. Dr. Weir is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
