The Early Life of Mark D. Heibel Mark D. Heibel was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and attended Lincoln Pius X Central high school. He graduated from Creighton University with summa cum Laude honors. He then earned a doctor of medicine from Creighton University School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mark was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Mark was appointed Chief Resident during his dermatology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and he subsequently obtained certification from the American Board of Dermatology. After achieving certification, he became Chief of Dermatology for Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. In 1996, he returned to Lincoln and started his private practice. Certificates and Memberships
