I have been practicing law for more than 30 years while simultaneously serving as a lawyer in two different states and helping thousands of clients. I am licensed by Washington University, St. Louis, and the University of Nebraska College of Law. My legal work includes representing individuals who have been charged with driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, assault, and murder. I am the former president of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorney's Association (NCDAA) and have done a TV show with CBS called "48 Hours." I am a member of the Nebraska State Bar and admitted to the United States Supreme Court and the United States Federal Court. I have spent many years on the Nebraska Public Advocacy Commission, where I would travel around Nebraska, representing only the most severe crimes that had been committed. My skills in trial advocacy ensure that I can help my client, no matter where they are. Many years of appellate advocacy have taught me how to keep an issue open for appeal and how to make persuasive briefs. Also, I understand how to present it before the highest court in the United States. I am also a Panel CJA Attorney at the U.S. District Court of Nebraska, meaning that I am one of the few attorneys who are highly qualified to represent individuals in federal indictments charged with serious crimes. I can act as your lawyer in any of these places.
