National Safety Council - Nebraska Chapter (NSCN) was formed in 1924 by a group of businessmen who believed that workers could avoid 75 percent of all accidents at work. Since that time, we have expanded our service area to include the whole state of Nebraska. NSCN is a non-profit, private organization and the only National Safety Council Chapter in Nebraska. As a member of the National Safety Council, we are committed to further the council's strategic initiatives, including Workplace Safety. Distracted Driving. Teen Driving. Prescription Drug Abuse. Fatigue. Our board is made up of volunteers, and our team consists of industry experts and highly-trained instructors. Our mission is Nebraska's premier organization for education and advocacy in order to prevent injuries at work, home, and on the roads.
