He is licensed to practice before the Nebraska Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. His B.S. was also granted from the University of Nebraska medical center (in Environmental Health). He is licensed to practice law before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He was given accreditation by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in August 2008. The Social Security Administration handles SSD. Mr. Laughlin may represent cases seeking SSD benefits. These people have paid in enough to the SSA system through payroll tax deductions (FICA SS/Medicare) to qualify for "insured for disabilities purposes" under Title 2. Supplemental Security Income benefits are for those who are disabled but not qualified for SSD under Title 16 or because they do not have "insured status" or by age. Children's cases are not under my purview.
