This was the worst new years ever I have ever experienced. Me and my 12 friends all bought the gold package for Mad Hatter which was $160. I am attaching below exactly what the package said it would include. $150.00 +$10.76 Fee Sales end on Dec 30, 2024 Gold Package Admission for 1 (one) guest to the "All That Glitters" NYE event at Madd Hatter Hoboken. ◆ Open bar 7PM-12AM (Top Shelf Open Bar, Draft Beer - Domestic, Craft, Import, & Bottled Beer) ◆ Complimentary Champagne toast at midnight ◆ Full Dinner & Dessert Buffet ◆ Live Times Square Ball Drop TV Broadcast ◆ Live NY & NJ DJ's rotating throughout the night When we arrived, there was no food left and we asked if they were going to replenish it and they said there was none left. We also did not get a full dessert bar or full dinner bar at all. When it’s turned 12 AM, no champagne was given out. I was expecting the DJ to announce everyone to get their champagne and get ready for the countdown. When I was asking other people at the bar, they also said they did not receive any food since there wasn’t enough for everyone. Every single person had to buy a pre-purchase package to enter that night therefore, they knew how many people were coming and should have been prepared with the right amount of food. It is absolutely unacceptable that we paid all this money and all we got was an open bar. I tried to call multiple times to solve the issue and no one answered. I then sent an email and they finally called me back but they did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. I am so disappointed. I had friends coming from all around the East Coast for New Year’s Eve, and for the amount of money we paid we didn’t get anything that was promised it was absolutely false advertising and taking advantage of the younger crowd.
