Backstage Dance Studio

In the Southwest, BACKSTAGE has offered world-class adult schooling since 1973. Our 42nd anniversary will be celebrated in January 2015. The trainers have come from different parts of the world. Some have been seen in internationally acclaimed ballet, modern, theatre, movies, television, and Las Vegas-style variety shows. Others have danced with some of the country's top theatre and film companies. Our complex dance academy offers training that he can't receive anywhere else. "West Side Story", "My Fair Lady," and "West Side Story" dancer/choreographer Nick Navarro, as well as Star Search Grand Champions John Crutchman & Allan Sherfield & the choreographers of Liza Minelli Michael Jackson Cher Debbie Reynolds Joel Grey Juliet Prowse Paula Abdul Gladys Knight, have all been guest teachers. The Royal Ballet School, the Italia Conti Stage School, and The Dance Theatre of Harlem have all trained our trainers. Backup dances for Celine Dion and Destinys Child have also been performed by them. Mariah Carey has also had the opportunity to work with some of them. The Cheetah Girls have also benefited from their talent. There are also former line captains from Siegfried and Roy, a top 16 finisher in So You Think You Can Dance's first season, and people who have choreographed for Cirque Du Soleil, Disney, IBM, Nike, and the Las Vegas MAGIC Conventions.
