Kathleen preferred to play with balloons than with other kids at the age of eight.  She loved their shimmering jewel hues and couldn't resist handling them. Kathleen begged her father for a fish-shaped silver balloon house at an upcoming home exhibition, as she had never seen any shaped balloons before. Kathleen carried her balloon fish to new stores and had it refilled. She would take her fish balloon to new places because it floated behind her car on the way home.
