Neglia Conservatory of Ballet

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Sergio and Heidi Neglia in 1994, Neglia Conservatory of Ballet is a Buffalo-based organization. The organization was established on the fourth floor of the Pierce-Arrow Building on Elmwood Avenue, where Sergio and Heidi used their professional ballet expertise and teaching capabilities to provide Western New York (WNY) students with a superior-level ballet education. We view and advocate for a diverse, inclusive, and accepting community. We respect others, offer compassion, and seek mutual understanding. The dancer's spirit is shown through dance. This entails instructing the feeling and conveying it to the audience. Students find their own artistic voice and acquire the confidence to share it. The desire to generate or achieve anything that fills the soul is valued and acknowledged. Dance is an expression of self and an occasion to celebrate openness and vulnerability. We recognize that all humans are interconnected. Human interaction with peers, educators, and professional artists from across the globe fosters empathy, making us better individuals. Our students and supporters perpetuate our values and heritage and amplify their performance on stage and in life.
