Historically, in 1998, Wantuch embarked on his business journey as an entrepreneur in the music industry when he launched Wasteland Music in Buffalo. Wantuch acquired many friends from operating the emporium. The Elavation Local Hour Radio Show resulted from the friendships formed. WHLD Radio 1400 aired the feature on Friday evenings. The Elavation Hour was a radio drama that featured local bands. It also detailed the interpersonal relationships between members of these bands. Wasteland Studio is a company located in Buffalo that offers cheap studio spaces for audio and visual artists. The studios are private and among the best in the city. The spaces are heated and air-conditioned and are also well-lit. There is also a webpage where each artist can create a link to their work. Capable of playing various tunes on the piano, singing, playing bass guitar, hitting the drums, and playing various wind and brass instruments, Brian Wantuch has been fascinated with music since childhood. This enchantment led Wantuch to want to pursue music professionally. At the age of thirteen, he created American Waste, and for 1990 to1991, he was in the active Buffalo music scene, where he contacted various local musicians.
