I hired this firm for my workers compensation claim after being rear-ended twice on the interstate. They are very unorganized. It takes them weeks to get back to you. They send a different attorney that knows nothing about your caseto each hearing. They lie to you and tell you details about an settl…
As a former client I would NOT recommend. Not only will they fail to do their job but they will employ manipulative tactics ( as the lawyers they are) to get you to settle your case for less than it’s worth.

This calculator uses the multiplier method, the starting point most insurance adjusters and personal injury lawyers use. It adds your financial losses (medical bills and lost wages) to a pain-and-suffering figure, which is those losses multiplied by a factor set by how serious the injury is: 1.5 to 2 times for minor injuries, up to 4 to 5 times for catastrophic ones. The type of accident adjusts the result, and it is then reduced by your share of fault under New York law. In New York, a no-fault state, it also separates what your own PIP insurance pays from what you can claim from the other driver.
New York is a no-fault state. After a car accident, your own personal injury protection (PIP) pays your medical bills and 80% of your lost income, up to $50,000, whoever caused the crash.
You can claim pain and suffering from the at-fault driver only if your injury meets New York's serious-injury threshold: a fracture, significant disfigurement, permanent loss or limitation of a body organ, member or function, significant limitation of a body function, or death. Financial losses above your PIP limit can still be claimed.
Since May 26, 2026, a driver who is more than 50% at fault for a car accident in New York can no longer recover pain and suffering, only a reduced share of their financial losses.
Motorcycle riders are generally outside PIP and follow the ordinary fault rules. Choose Motorcycle Accident in the calculator above to see that estimate.
