Imagine Swimming was established in 2002 to help kids learn how to swim. It is a popular private swimming lesson program, with over 4,000 students visiting each week in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Imagine has a variety of aquatics to choose from to suit the needs and interests of all ages. We offer Baby Splash at eight weeks, then Parent & Me classes, and group instruction for 3-year-olds and up. Teams, Water Polo, Synchronized Swimming, and Adult lessons are available for older children. Imagine! Our goal is to offer small, unique, and structured aquatic classrooms for every student to improve. Our teaching staff reflects the city it serves. Imagine Swimming is a reflection of NYC's creativity. There are no set curricula or rubrics at Imagine, children participate in exercises that change from swimmer to swimmer. Our aim is for 30 minutes of "active" time if they're there. Too many kids rest on the abstract sidelines during their swimming lessons. Children aged 3 and up may take "Classic" Imagine classes, which are structured to be 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, depending on the number of students in attendance. This setting is thought to be ideal for socializing while fostering one's talents and abilities. For students below 3, select Parent & me classes offered below.

The small class sizes and dedicated and skilled instructors receive many praises for helping the children improve immensely. And even though he didn't learn to swim at Imagine, a parent mentioned that her son was safe there when he needed help. Learning to swim was so crucial to his life and confidence. All the parents loved the class structure and facilities, especially the facilities, they liked how clean and inviting they are. There is nothing more satisfying for a parent than seeing a brightly smiling swimming child, wholly in love with the water.
