Hello! I am Glenn Dickstein, the owner of NeighborhoodTrainers. Every person who wants to live a better lifestyle should have a fair chance. I subsequently obtained a personal training certification (IFPA). I desired to help more people, so even though I was a full-time employee at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in 2000, I learned how to train friends, which my certification allowed, and assist them in establishing workout routines. It should be noted that I understood very little about marketing, and I did not have confidence in my ability to sell my skills and start a personal training business. In the next ten years, I developed a passion for fitness and business. Over the years, my fitness experiences have helped and inspired me to build successful businesses. It became clear that I could not develop this business alone. I wanted to start this company, but all the personal trainers I knew, including myself ten years ago, were outstanding coaches, industry professionals, and marketers but were not confident or capable of making sales or marketing. NeighborhoodTrainers was founded. At TSI, I was a Corporate Fitness Programs Sales Consultant. I sold more than 10,000 gym memberships and spoke with tens if not hundreds of individuals interested in joining the gym, managing the sales process and maintaining employee programs for fitness in New York City and Westchester County. My form of sales and listening skills differ from others because of my hospitality and fitness industry background. These skills make me a special kind of company. I am a certified personal trainer (NESTA) and nutrition and well-being consultant (AFPA). I have been a team player since 2002 in the ELEMENT OF SURPRISE Club, leading a group of approximately 60 individuals doing workouts. I've completed more than 100 races and completed the Blue Cross Broad Street Run Ten-Mile every year in Philadelphia since 1996. I serve on The Gymtime Foundation's Board of Trustees, which helps raise funds for children with various ailments.
