SwimJim Swimming Lessons - New York City Meet the SwimJim Founders Jim Spiers Jim Spiers, our Founder & C.E.O. was a young Texan boy who always swam. He was diving and swimming when he was only 3 years of age. At 17, he began teaching and coaching. Though he is from Houston, New York is where his heart is. Together with Fox, they aimed at safe swimming teaching and educating elite swimmers, hence developing and perfecting SwimJim’s aquatic programs for kids and adults.
