ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

An Arts-infused education is not an art class, but one in which art is used to learn mathematics, reading and science, etc. Arts-infused education includes all arts, i.e., visual, music, drama, and technology. It helps a teacher reach all learners in their class. The use of all forms of art in teaching core school subjects means we can teach and engage all students. An arts-infused approach to learning has been shown to increase academic performance compared to traditional teaching methods (Newton D. Baker School of Arts, 2022). This makes a child part of something new and pushes the boundaries of our understanding of how we teach and learn in today’s world. Arts-infused educational programs improve academic scores and create new ways to understand teachers and students. This form of learning is more important than ever as it helps us to learn from our mistakes and acknowledges the success we have seen in learning. This form of practice makes sure that students can see new ways of learning. The arts-infused learning approach offers a way to know a child's mental state, and we believe our students are among the largest beneficiaries of this learning method, which helps them to access new ways of being and learning. The program has also been featured in various educational resources. We are also proud to have our work reviewed in Third Space: Learning Matters. Many national, state, and local awards have also recognized the success of our students in scoring highly. These honors reflect our efforts to mentor teachers and students in their work.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Newton D Baker reviews include a wide range of opinions. While some former students praise the school, pointing out the excellent environment, experienced teachers, and numerous opportunities for their success, others feel that the school never provided a conducive learning atmosphere. One reviewer also noted that the school had a weak special education department, which negatively impacted her brother's education. Newton D Baker is a versatile presenter who can turn any subject matter into a memorable learning experience for her students, who characterize her as a loving, dedicated, innovative, and committed educator who focuses on her students' wellbeing. However, the school is in a clean, spacious building, but some essential facilities require upgrading to make it more functional. Parents also said that the administration staff are unprofessional and do not effectively respond to their concerns while the continuity of bullying on campus is particularly disturbing. Another student likes Ms Brown's teaching and sends her a letter to express her gratitude for challenging and supporting her to become a better learner, which the parent believes is vital for her, and the information that the app provides is handy. A parent suggests that another teacher would make a great addition to Ms Brown's team due to his professionalism, which would highly benefit his students. The conclusion is that the school must increase the support of students' social-emotional needs and ensure there is a safe learning environment.
